Committee of Advisors
We’re organized differently than other neighborhood associations. Instead of a president, vice president or secretary, we have a Committee of Advisors that share responsibilities without the titles.

Our Mission & Areas of Focus
We work to build interest in the welfare of our neighborhood, collaborate to find solutions, share news, and represent our neighborhood in the wider El Paso community.
Community Involvement
We invite all renters, home owners, and business owners to join us
Equity
We want to preserve the demographics of our neighborhood
Health of Our Environment
We want native plants and clean air
Special Events
We support ideas for community projects from everyone in our community
Walkability
We walk to work 3 times more than the El Paso average, so we want to make walking comfortable and safe
Public Transit
Nine percent of us take public transit to work– that’s more than 4 times the El Paso average, so we have a high need for efficient public transit options
Neighborhood Boundries
The Rio Grande Neighborhood Association is located in west central El Paso, Texas. Our boundaries are loosely defined by Stanton Street to the west, Brown Street to the east, Schuster Avenue to the north and Montana Avenue to the south.
