WHAT: The City of El Paso’s Environmental Services Department is providing dumpsters, tools, and free trash bags stationed in the parking lot of the at O’Rourke Recreation Center
WHERE: Parking lot of the Pat O’Rourke Recreation Center at 901 N Virginia St, El Paso TX 79902
WHEN: Saturday, October 21st, from 7:30am to 11:30am
For a free t-shirt on the day of the event, please register with the city
Acceptable items to dispose of:
- Household trash
- Household recyclables
- Appliances (must be empty)
- Barbeques (fuel and charcoal removed)
- Brush, tree trunks, branches, weeds, and other green waste
- Carpet
- Doors
- Furniture (must be empty)
- Lawn mowers (Fuel and motor oil removed)
- Mattresses & box springs
- Pallets
- Old Appliances (Refrigerators & freezers must be clean, empty and free of odors. Freon must be removed from appliances prior to pick-up. The appliance must be tagged by a company authorized to collect freon.)
Items not accepted:
- Used electronics
- Commercial/construction waste
- Commercial/Industrial generated material
- Compressed gas/air cylinder(s)
- Dirt/Rocks/Concrete
- Tires
- Household hazardous waste
- Hazardous materials
